Yes. and no! SIMS v1 is not multi-user (version 2 has this ability) so you cannot access the same database simultaneously from 2+ computers at the same time. If you require SIMS to manage invoices for more than 1 company, then yes this is possible although SIMS requires you to purchase a license for each unique inastallation. Although this is very difficult for us to enforce, based mainly on trust, you will experience difficulties migrating more than 1 database to version 2 so take notice now!

Firstly go to the "System Properties" screen under the "System Management" section. Under the "System Properties" window to the right of "Company Details" you will notice various options governing Sales Tax.

From the main toolbar click the "Modify System Properties" button to enter "Edit Mode". You can now set 'Sales Tax Name' to " " (i.e. blank), 'Sales Tax Amount' to 0% and also uncheck the 'Auto Calculate Totals'.

Once the properties are amended click the 'Save System Properties' button from the main toolbar. Now when you add products to the invoice and database no VAT will be added.

The SIMS installation comes as a self extracting compressed file (ZIP), when you launch the program the dialog box asks you for a location to uncompress the setup files. Click the "Browse" button to change this to a folder you can easily find i.e. "My Documents". After clicking the Unzip button the files will be uncompressed to the folder of your choice. Use Windows Explorer to locate the folder and launch the "setup.exe" application.
