The currency symbol and formatting is taken from the Locale / Regional & Language Settings setup (under Control Panel) in your Windows configuration to make it compatible with any currency supported by Windows. Alter these settings to match your requirements and restart SIMS.

The simple answer is no, or not yet! SIMS v1 does offer some accounting functions that allow you to accrue totals for items sold. You can setup a period to account i.e. week, month, year etc and SIMS will provide you instantly with the totals. The real-time calculations show total amounts invoiced, banked complete with a tax breakdown making tax returns a doddle. A simple bar chart is also plotted on the accounting screen allowing you to easily monitor business growth. With this said the functionality is not that of Quicken or Sage although version 2 will offer optional plug-ins to expand accounting functionality.

Not in version 1! SIMS v2 is based upon a plug-in framework allowing you to add functionality to SIMS as your business requires. Both purchasing and stock control have been developed and will be available when version 2 is launched.
